About this role:
Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a passionate Senior Engineering Manager for the Central Experience Pay Per Lead Integrations team in Gurugram, India. Our team is expanding during 2026 and we are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager who can help us to manage a growing team of Platform Engineers
What you’ll do:
Mentor, guide, manage and grow a scaling team of Platform Engineers of different seniority levels.
Role Model in Technical Excellence and Engineering Best Practices (Architecture, Application Design, Development, Testing). You’re comfortable acting as a Tech Lead, raising the bar of the team’s competences.
Lead architectural discussions (RFCs, Design Documents, Architectural Decision Records), contribute to technical decisions, and drive impactful contributions to our code base and ways of working.
Work in partnership with Product Owners and other Engineering leaders to shape both the product and engineering roadmaps
Encouraging the team to try novel approaches, learn from challenges, and build credibility through integrity and open communication.
Exceptional People Manager, someone the team will admire and follow from day one. You: empathize with people, know how to adapt your leadership style to situations, create trustworthy relationships, show, and lead the way, have great communication and influencing skills with both the team and stakeholders alike.

What you will need:
6+ years of experience working in Platform Engineering, Full Stack Engineering, or a similar role and 3+ years of experience managing a team and working on multiple projects.
Experience designing and building scalable and maintainable applications and data models that enable data-driven business decisions and product development.
Strong Product Sense and Project Management, you would be comfortable to act as a Product Manager if required.
Strong proficiency and experience with SQL and Go, knowledge of AWS infrastructure and architectural principles and microservices
Good understanding of Software Development best practices and Agile methodologies
Good combination of technical and interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information Systems, master’s in science or equivalent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
