Sr. Executive / Sr. Engineer - Tender Business & Project Execution

POSITION OVERVIEW

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (with extensive travel across India)
Department: Business Development & Project Management
Experience Required: 3-5 years in renewable energy / solar EPC sector

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTender Business Development (50%)

• Identify and track tender opportunities from government portals (GEDA, MNRE, PEDA, JREDA, UPNEDA, MEDA), PSUs, and private organizations
• Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and commercial requirements
• Prepare comprehensive tender responses including technical proposals, BOQs, compliance sheets, and commercial bids
• Coordinate with internal teams (technical, finance, legal) for accurate costing and documentation
• Ensure timely submission of all tender documents, EMD, and bid securities
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and clarification sessions
• Maintain tender database and conduct competitor analysis
• Build relationships with channel partners and stakeholders

Project Execution & Management (50%)

• Lead end-to-end project execution from contract award through commissioning
• Develop detailed project execution plans with timelines and milestone tracking
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, installation, and commissioning teams
• Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and design validation
• Monitor project progress against KPIs and timelines
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality protocols, and contractual obligations
• Manage project budgets and cost controls
• Prepare periodic project reports and client updates
• Coordinate with clients for approvals, inspections, and final handover
• Ensure proper documentation including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranty certificates

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree or MBA will be an added advantage

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years in tender management and project execution in renewable energy sector
• Proven track record of successful tender wins and project deliveries
• Experience with government tenders and PSU projects preferred

REQUIRED SKILLSTechnical Skills

• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, components, and EPC processes
• Knowledge of on-grid, off-grid, hybrid, and solar pumping solutions
• Familiarity with relevant standards (CEA, IEC, BIS) and grid codes
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and BOQ preparation
• Understanding of renewable energy policies and regulatory frameworks

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
