Job Purpose:

Sr. Executive Finance & Accounts is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and finance operations at the plant level, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, statutory compliance, audit readiness, and timely financial reporting. The role supports compliance with GST, TDS, Import–Export regulations, inventory controls, and internal financial policies, while acting as a reliable backup for critical finance operations as required.


Key Responsibilities (Main Activities):

Responsible for handling end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable activities including vendor and customer reconciliations, monitoring customer GRN and ensuring timely billing and collections. Performs general ledger accounting activities such as journal entries, debit and credit postings, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end closing support. Conducts inventory checks and audits, identifies discrepancies or inconsistencies, and coordinates with relevant teams for timely rectification. Ensures full compliance with GST regulations including accurate return filing, reconciliation, and monitoring of statutory timelines. Manages TDS and TCS compliance by ensuring correct deduction, timely payment, return filing, and issuance of TDS certificates. Supports internal and external audits by preparing schedules, providing data and samples, and coordinating with auditors. Prepares and reviews MIS reports including prepaid expenses, fixed asset register updates, inventory reports, and related financial analytics. Manages insurance-related documentation, renewals, and coordination with internal stakeholders and service providers. Ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations while supporting continuity of finance processes as a backup resource when required.


Experience Requirements:

Minimum 7-9 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably within an automotive, manufacturing, or plant-based environment, with hands-on exposure to statutory compliances, audits, inventory accounting, and plant finance operations.


Education & Qualification:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in commerce, Accounting, or Finance; professional qualification such as CA Inter, ICWA Inter, or equivalent will be an added advantage.


Functional & Behavioral Competencies:

Strong understanding of accounting principles, statutory compliance, and internal controls, hands-on working knowledge of GST, TDS, and plant accounting processes, proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Excel, high attention to detail and accuracy, strong sense of accountability and ownership, effective coordination and communication skills, ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven manufacturing environment, and readiness to support cross-functional and audit requirements.
