Sr.Backend Engineer (Remote)

We’re looking for a Remote(India) Backend Engineer to join our core product-engineering team. You’ll work closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and data teams to build scalable, high-performance backend systems and data pipelines, with the ability to contribute end-to-end using React for the frontend and Node.js for the backend.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend services using Node.js and Express.js
• Work with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and manage message queues (RabbitMQ) efficiently
• Collaborate on data & analytics workflows using Trino and Cube.js
• Optimize backend performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Participate in designing internal libraries, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Mentor junior engineers and help grow the backend team’s technical capabilities
• Work closely with frontend engineers and actively contribute to end-to-end product development
• Ensure code quality, testing, and adherence to best practices

What we are looking for

• 4+ years of backend development experience

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and backend architecture
• Hands-on experience with SQL and message queues (RabbitMQ or similar)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong familiarity with React integrations and ability to work on end-to-end features
• Familiarity with Redis; experience with ClickHouse and semantic layers (e.g., Cube.js) is a plus
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Bonus: Experience in e-commerce / Q-commerce SaaS companies
