Sr. Backend Engineer

As a skilled back-end developer, you will join a growing team with the responsibility of building cutting-edge web applications for the next generation of SaaS applications for eCommerce brands. Your role will involve designing server-side architecture, implementing new features, ensuring responsiveness and scalability of the application, and contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders, producing quality code, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing support to operations and customer success team are key aspects of this position. Key Responsibilities: - Building a cutting-edge web application for the next generation of SaaS applications for eCommerce brands - Designing server-side architecture and implementing new features - Ensuring responsiveness and scalability of the application - Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle - Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders - Producing quality code to enhance team performance and speed - Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with the application - Providing needed support to the operations and customer success team - Completing other duties as assigned Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of programming experience in core Java with expertise in the enterprise Java technology ecosystem - Strong experience with Spring, Struts, Servlets, JSP, Apache POI, Maven, JUnit - Excellent coding, problem-solving, and debugging skills - Hands-on design and development experience for customer-facing applications with high availability, concurrency, multi-tenancy, and high scalability - Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals - Strong experience with Web Services (SOAP/REST) and SQL (MySQL, Oracle, etc) - Good working experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - Knowledge of managing web applications in a Linux environment - Strong analytical and interpersonal skills,
