Sr. Backend Engineer

As a Senior Back-End Software Engineer specializing in server-side components, your role at ORI will involve working primarily with Node JS, Mongo DB, Python, Typescript, and Redis to build scalable products and bring in-depth knowledge of algorithms and data structures. You will architect new features, refactor existing code for scalability, and see changes through to completion in a live environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with front-end developers and team members to establish objectives and design functional, cohesive codes for an enhanced user experience. - Designing and implementing scalable applications using asynchronous programming for low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications across multiple systems and servers. - Integrating data storage solutions by creating database schemas to support business processes and consolidating multiple data sources into one system. - Developing reusable code and libraries for future use. - Exploring technical innovation and proposing new solutions as needed. - Working with engineers, product managers, and senior leadership to translate product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every month. Our ideal candidate should possess: - 5+ years of relevant experience in a Tech Startup. - A solid foundation in Computer Science fundamentals (BE/BTech or MS in Information Technologies/Computer Science). - Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and frameworks. - Hands-on experience with MongoDB and the ability to write aggregation queries. - Understanding of Python and TypeScript. - Basic knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5 and CSS3. - Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, Redis, AWS, and Sockets.
