Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis, Reporting & Audit:
- Support month-end and year-end close activities by reconciling accounts and ensuring data accuracy.
- Support audit process including providing samples, addressing audit queries and liaison with business units and auditors.
- Prepare financial reports for management review.
Financial & Operational Review:
- Analyze financial statements, accounting records, and business processes to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Review compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and applicable laws.
Business Partnering:
- Work closely with various departments and audit managers to ensure audit objectives are met.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Controllers function.
Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support audit activities by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Stay updated on auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Assist in identifying and mitigating business risks through effective audit procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree/Post Graduation in Accounting, Finance, (CA Intermediate will be an added advantage)
- 6-7 years of experience in auditing, financial analysis, corporate finance, or related roles.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and data analytics tools.
- Knowledge of industry-specific compliance requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
