Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis, Reporting & Audit:

  • Support month-end and year-end close activities by reconciling accounts and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Support audit process including providing samples, addressing audit queries and liaison with business units and auditors.
  • Prepare financial reports for management review.

Financial & Operational Review:

  • Analyze financial statements, accounting records, and business processes to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
  • Review compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and applicable laws.

Business Partnering:

  • Work closely with various departments and audit managers to ensure audit objectives are met.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Controllers function.

Compliance & Controls:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audit activities by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Stay updated on auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating business risks through effective audit procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Post Graduation in Accounting, Finance, (CA Intermediate will be an added advantage)
  • 6-7 years of experience in auditing, financial analysis, corporate finance, or related roles.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and data analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific compliance requirements.
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
