About The Team
The team is responsible for analytics delivery strategy across Pricing, Promotion & Competitive Intelligence (PPCI) product portfolio. We work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver analytical solutions for Data Intelligent products.
Job Summary
The
Senior Analyst
plays a key role in delivering data-driven insights to support Pro & Promotions Data Intelligence. This role involves conducting quantitative analysis, ensuring data accuracy, and translating findings into actionable recommendations for product development. Key responsibilities include:
- Gathering, wrangling, and analyzing disparate data sources using best practices.
- Performing statistical and quantitative analysis to identify trends and anomalies.
- Collaborating with Product Managers, Analysts and Engineers to achieve product goals.
- Utilizing SQL and/or Python to query, summarize, and visualize data for stakeholders.
Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to drive impactful business decisions through data.

Years Of Experience
- 5-8 years of experience
- 3+ years' experience in analytical role along with proficiency in SQL & Visualization tools and techniques
Education Qualification & Certifications
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Data or Information Sciences, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field) AND 3 years of related experience
OR
- Master's degree in business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Data or Information Sciences, or related field AND 1 year of related experience
Skill Set Required
Primary Skills (must have)
- 3+ years’ hands-on experience with enterprise databases/data warehouses (e.g., Hadoop, Big Query, Teradata)
- Proficient in SQL for complex queries, data extraction, and transformation
- 3+ years’ experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Superset)
- Skilled in structuring, cleaning, and enriching large datasets; adept at data validation, outlier detection, and root cause analysis
- Ability to translate complex business problems into actionable analytical requirements
- Strong communication skills for conveying insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Committed to continuous learning in math, science, technology, and business
Secondary Skills (desired)
- Experience with Python or PySpark for data analysis and processing
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Proficient with work management tools (e.g., Jira, Bitbucket)
- Ability to develop, maintain, and enhance descriptive and predictive analytics models supporting Lowe’s Pricing & Promotions strategy
- Prior experience in Pricing/Promotions preferred (not mandatory)
- Background in retail analytics preferred
