Sr. Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accounts Manager

Department: Accounts & Finance
Reporting To: Head – Finance / CFO

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Prepare and review MIS reports for management decision-making.
• Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in preparation of annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Monitor financial performance vs. budgets and highlight deviations with corrective actions.

Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure statutory compliance for GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other regulatory filings.
• Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and government authorities.
• Maintain records and documentation for tax audits and assessments.

Audit & Internal Controls

• Implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate internal and statutory audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Develop and standardize accounting policies and procedures.

ERP & Process Management

• Oversee ERP implementation and accounting data accuracy.
• Drive automation and digitalization of accounting processes for efficiency.
• Ensure integration of accounts with supply chain, sales, and production modules.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and mentor the accounts team members.
• Conduct periodic training and performance evaluations.
• Foster a culture of accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: B.Com / MBA (Finance)
• Experience: 8–12 years of experience in manufacturing accounting, preferably in solar / electrical / electronics sector
• Technical Skills: Tally / SAP / ERP system proficiency, MS Excel, knowledge of IFRS/IND-AS
• Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, leadership, integrity, and communication

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
