About The Role


Sponsorship Sales Specialist


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and target potential sponsors through strategic outreach, networking, and market analysis.
  • Develop compelling and customized sponsorship proposals that address partner needs and align with event objectives.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation, closing, and contract execution.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and key decision-makers.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person presentations to showcase event value and partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with event, marketing, and operations teams to create impactful sponsorship packages and deliverables.
  • Track sales activities using CRM tools and maintain updated records of leads, pipelines, and revenue forecasts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market changes to enhance sponsorship strategies.
  • Ensure smooth delivery of sponsor commitments and maintain high levels of partner satisfaction throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Represent the organization at client meetings, networking events, and industry conferences.


Requirements


  • Proven experience in sponsorship sales, B2B sales, business development, or partnership management (events background is a plus).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building ability and a consultative sales approach.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to create persuasive proposals and communicate value clearly.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office/Google Workspace.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
