Job Description

Looking to onboard a skilled Sous Chef with expertise in Indian coastal cuisine to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and hospitality, with excellent culinary skills.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the head chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
Ensure high-quality food production, presentation, and service standards are met.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Conduct menu costing and inventory management to optimize resources.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and feedback.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a chef or cook in a professional kitchen setting.
Strong knowledge of Indian coastal cuisine and its ingredients.
Excellent cooking techniques, including sauting, roasting, and grilling.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good communication and teamwork skills, with attention to detail and quality control.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including refrigeration and dish washing machines.
