Our platform seamlessly integrates technology and B2B procurement to drive innovations focused on optimizing processes at the 'Bottom of the Pyramid.’ Role Description The Category Executive – Housekeeping Category is responsible for managing procurement, vendor relationships, pricing strategy, and supply chain efficiency for housekeeping consumables. This includes ensuring the availability, quality, and cost-effectiveness of housekeeping-related resources such as manpower, cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment. Key Responsibilities: Manage sourcing and procurement activities for housekeeping materials, consumables, and equipment. Develop and maintain strong relationships with housekeeping items providers and product suppliers. Analyze demand trends and usage patterns across sites to forecast needs and plan procurement accordingly. Negotiate prices, contracts, and service-level agreements with vendors to ensure cost efficiency and quality compliance. Work closely with operations, admin, and finance teams to align procurement with organizational goals and budgets. Monitor vendor performance, service delivery, and adherence to compliance requirements (e.g., PF, ESI, labor laws). Evaluate and onboard new vendors based on capability, quality, pricing, and geographical reach. Ensure the timely availability of housekeeping supplies across all operational sites. Track and manage housekeeping category spend, savings, and performance metrics. Stay updated on market trends, product innovations, and cost changes in the housekeeping industry. Key Requirements: Education: Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or Diploma in Supply Chain Management is a plus. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in category management, procurement, or operations related to housekeeping or facility management. Skills: Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
