The Data Tech Labs is Hiring ETL tester Location - Pune Work Mode - Hybrid Experience - 5+ years Preferred - Immediate Joiner or 15 days Notice Period Share your profile - ashwini.gore@tdtl.world An ETL Tester is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data that has been extracted from various sources, transformed to fit business needs, and loaded into a data warehouse. This role is essential in maintaining the reliability of data used for analysis and reporting, which in turn supports business decision-making. Key Responsibilities Requirement Analysis: Understand and analyze ETL requirements and specifications to create test plans. Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test strategies, including the identification of test cases, test data requirements, and the creation of test scripts. Data Validation: Verify that data extraction, transformation, and loading processes are functioning correctly. Ensure data integrity and consistency. Bug Identification: Identify and document defects, inconsistencies, and discrepancies in the ETL process. Work closely with development teams to resolve issues. Test Execution: Execute test plans, perform manual and automated testing, and analyze results to ensure that ETL processes meet specified requirements. Performance Testing: Assess the performance of ETL processes to ensure scalability and reliability under varying data loads. Documentation: Create detailed documentation of test results, defects, and corrective actions. Maintain comprehensive test records for future reference. Compliance: Ensure that ETL processes comply with data governance and regulatory requirements. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues. Required Skills Having 6+ Years Experience in ETL testing. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and database management systems. Working knowledge with Cloud Technology (Preferable GCP Platform). At least 2+ years of SQL experience and able to write complex SQL (including multiple joins). Conversant on Test Management tools like ALM/JIRA GCP exposure (Airflow, Data fusion, GCS) Visualization tool (Qlik, data studio and SAC) Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to identify, investigate, and resolve data issues. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling data. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document and present findings clearly. Teamwork: Strong collaborative skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
