Position Overview This is a full-time, on-site role for a Software Support Engineer based in Rajkot. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Software Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and customer support for our Jewellery Stock and Accounting Software. The ideal candidate will act as the first point of contact for clients, helping them resolve software issues, understand features, and ensure smooth usage of our solutions for wholesale, retail, and manufacturing jewellery businesses. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, remote desktop, and in-person. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to software installation, configuration, and usage. Train clients on software features such as inventory management, billing, accounting, and reporting modules. Coordinate with the development team to escalate and resolve complex technical problems. Document customer issues and solutions in a knowledge base for future reference. Assist with data migration, backup, and recovery processes as needed. Ensure smooth implementation of software at client sites. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective support. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Strong knowledge of SQL databases, MS Excel, and basic accounting principles. Familiarity with inventory/stock management systems and financial modules. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with jewellery business clients. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Prior experience in software support or ERP/accounting software preferred. Preferred Qualifications Understanding of jewellery industry workflows (wholesale, retail, manufacturing).
