Software Quality Engineer

Basic Qualifications

7+ years' experience in automation testing of APIs and QA manual testing.

• Expertise in smoke, integration, regression & UAT testing.
• Expertise in test automation frameworks, test planning and execution using Java, JavaScript, Postman, Newman, Cucumber, JMeter & Selenium(BDD).
• Highly Experienced in building test strategies for UI, APIs, and service layer for highly transactional systems.
• Experience working with teams using Agile methodologies, demonstrated ability to quickly reproduce, diagnose and trouble shoot complex problems. Understanding of lean and agile methods of software delivery and the principles and practices of BDD, ATDD and TDD.
• Experience using databases – e.g., SQL (MS SQL Server, Oracle) or NoSQL
• Experience using cloud technologies (GCP, Azure, AWS) Experience in SCM technologies such as Git, SVN
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand technical specifications and analyse log files, experience in designing and building test tools and systems.
• Strong analytical skills in assessing user, functional, and technical requirements and identifying high risk and key test areas
• Exhibits strong leadership qualities including excellent judgment, high standards, can dive deep and remain in touch with business details, drives innovation and delivers results.
