Job Description

The Quality Assurance Engineer will play a key role in validating and ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of blockchain-based applications. This role requires hands-on experience in QA methodologies along with practical knowledge of blockchain technologies, distributed ledger systems, and smart contract testing.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test strategies and test cases for blockchain applications and smart contracts.
Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing across distributed systems.
Validate the integrity of on-chain and off-chain data, as well as transaction flows.
Utilize blockchain testing tools and frameworks to ensure robust contract performance and security.
Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to drive high-quality release cycles.
Identify, document, and track defects; conduct root cause analysis on failures.
Implement test automation where applicable to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with best practices, protocol standards, and industry-level QA processes.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience in QA processes, test design techniques, and defect life cycle management.
Hands-on experience testing blockchain technologies such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, Polygon, or similar.
Familiarity with smart contract testing frameworks such as Truffle, Hardhat, Ganache, Foundry, or Web3 testing tools.
Understanding of decentralized applications (dApps), consensus mechanisms, wallets, and node operations.
Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar.
Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Cypress, or Playwright) is an advantage.
Solid understanding of QA metrics and reporting standards.
Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
