NAAR is a new-age social e-commerce platform that brings together the experience of Instagram-style content with the convenience of Amazon — all in one app. Buyers discover products through short videos and live streams, while sellers get a simple and effective way to showcase and sell.

We are currently trialing in India and preparing for an early 2026 launch in the UAE and the UK. Backed by UAE-based investors and strong global partners, NAAR is scaling fast with a clear multi-country rollout plan.

Our mission is to help sellers, creators, and influencers grow by turning content into commerce. We aim to build a marketplace where buyers, sellers, and creators connect as a community, making online shopping more social, transparent, and engaging.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Social Media Manager

Influencer Strategy & Acquisition:

• Design and execute influencer campaigns, focusing on onboarding local influencers in categories such as handlooms, beauty, fashion, home decor, and women/kids essentials.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key influencers to amplify NAAR’s brand reach and credibility.

Social Media Marketing Execution:

• Plan, implement, and optimize strategic social media campaigns across all NAAR social channels.
• Collaborate with content creators and designers to deliver engaging, high-impact content tailored to target audiences.
• Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies to maximize engagement and growth.

Social Media Community Management:

• Build, grow, and manage NAAR’s social media community by fostering authentic engagement and conversations.
• Create and curate content that resonates with diverse audiences, acting as a liaison between NAAR and its community.
• Respond to community feedback, inquiries, and trends in real-time to maintain a vibrant and positive brand image.

Analytics & Reporting:

• Leverage social media analytics tools to track key metrics, measure campaign effectiveness, and report on growth targets.
• Utilize data-driven insights to inform future strategies and optimize ongoing initiatives.

Brand/Product Launch Support:

• Support the launch of new brands and products in local contexts, particularly in India, adapting content and campaigns to fit regional needs and cultural nuances.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Work Experience:

• 3-5 years of proven experience in social media management, with a focus on growth and engagement in product-led companies.
• Demonstrated success in meeting aggressive social media growth targets and launching brands/products in local markets.
• Experience in influencer strategy, acquisition, and campaign execution.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Advanced certifications in social media or digital marketing are a plus.

Skills / Behaviour Attributes:

• Expertise in influencer strategy & acquisition, social media marketing execution, and community management.
• Deep understanding of the fusion of social media and eCommerce, with a strong grasp of current trends and best practices.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in social media analytics tools and data-driven decision making.
• Creative thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt content and campaigns to fit regional and cultural contexts, especially within India.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
