Job Description

Social Media Manager


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee Elance's official social media accounts including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and more.
  • Supervise and coordinate the social media content team to ensure timely and brand-aligned content delivery.
  • Analyze engagement metrics and performance insights to create weekly reports and suggest data-driven improvements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase audience growth, engagement rates, and lead conversions.
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with the design and video teams to plan and produce campaign creatives and brand videos.
  • Coordinate shoots with internal teams and cast; manage schedules and content requirements effectively.
  • Apply basic SEO techniques to improve content discoverability and support digital marketing goals.
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of video-based content, including scripting, editing, and publishing.
  • Monitor workflows, enforce deadlines, and ensure the smooth functioning of all digital campaigns.


Required Qualifications

  • MBA in Marketing or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media management, content strategy, or digital marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of key platforms: Instagram, Meta (Facebook), YouTube, LinkedIn.
  • Familiarity with performance marketing, analytics tools, and SEO best practices.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and team leadership skills.
  • Creative mindset with strong visual and written storytelling ability.
