Job Overview:

The Social Media Manager will lead the planning, development, and execution of the organization’s social media strategy to enhance brand visibility, strengthen engagement, and drive business growth across all digital platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, creativity, and deep expertise in social media trends, analytics, and performance optimization. The Manager will supervise the social media team, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and ensure brand consistency across all online channels.

Key Responsibilities:1. Social Media Strategy & Leadership:

• Develop and lead the overall social media strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Guide and mentor the social media team to ensure effective execution of plans.
• Identify growth opportunities and implement strategies to increase followers, engagement, and brand visibility.

2. Content Planning & Oversight:

• Oversee the creation, curation, and quality of content (text, images, videos, reels, stories, etc.).
• Approve monthly content calendars and ensure brand voice and messaging consistency.
• Coordinate with design, content, and product teams to deliver high-impact content.

3. Community & Reputation Management:

• Monitor online conversations and engage with the audience in a timely and professional manner.
• Address customer queries, feedback, and escalations to maintain a positive brand image.
• Develop guidelines for community engagement and ensure team adherence.

4. Analytics, Insights & Reporting:

• Track, analyze, and interpret performance metrics such as reach, engagement, conversions, and ROI.
• Present monthly/quarterly performance reports to senior management.
• Use insights to optimize strategies and improve campaign results across platforms.

5. Social Media Campaign Management:

• Plan, execute, and supervise paid social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
• Manage advertising budgets, optimize ad performance, and ensure targeted reach and ROI.
• Collaborate with agencies or internal teams for campaign execution.

6. Influencer & Partnership Management:

• Identify and collaborate with influencers, creators, and strategic partners to boost brand presence.
• Manage relationships, negotiate deliverables, and track collaboration outcomes.

7. Brand Awareness & Positioning:

• Strengthen brand identity through consistent messaging and storytelling across platforms.
• Monitor brand sentiment and proactively manage any negative comments or PR risks.

8. Trend Analysis & Innovation:

• Stay updated with emerging social media trends, formats, tools, and best practices.
• Introduce new ideas, content formats, and innovative strategies to stay ahead of competitors.

Key Skills & Qualifications:Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA in Marketing) is a plus.

Experience:

• 3–6 years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Core Skills:

• Strong understanding of all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
