Job Summary:
The Social Media Analyst will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting social media metrics to guide strategy and optimize performance across all major platforms. You will support brand-building efforts by identifying trends, providing competitor intelligence, and recommending data-driven enhancements to content, timing, and targeting.
Key Responsibilities:Monitor and analyze performance across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) for internal brand accounts and client campaigns.
Track KPIs including engagement rate, reach, impressions, follower growth, CTR, conversions, and more.Develop monthly, quarterly, and campaign-based performance reports with clear visualizations and strategic recommendations.Provide real-time insights during major campaign launches or influencer collaborations.Collaborate with the content and creative teams to evaluate what types of content resonate best with different audiences.Conduct social listening and sentiment analysis using tools like Brandwatch, Sprout Social, or Talkwalker.Benchmark performance against industry standards and competitor activity.Help optimize paid social strategies by analyzing ad metrics and ROI.Translate analytics into meaningful client-facing insights that inform branding decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years experience in a social media analyst, digital marketing analyst, or similar role.
Strong analytical skills with a passion for digital data.Proficiency in social media analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, YouTube Studio, etc.) and third-party platforms (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, etc.).Ability to create clear and compelling reports using Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, or data visualization tools like Tableau or Google Data Studio.Solid understanding of social KPIs, attribution models, and campaign evaluation.Experience working with branding or creative agencies is a plus.Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Experience working with paid social ad metrics (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads).Familiarity with influencer campaign metrics.Certification in Google Analytics or a similar platform is a plus.
