Sr. Advisor - Workforce Admin leads end-to-end employee data management, ensuring compliance with policies and controls, and fostering a culture of operational excellence. This role requires extensive experience in employee benefits and data management, resolving escalated queries, collaborating with stakeholders, implementing process enhancements, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to company values. What would you be responsible for Stakeholder Collaboration and Relationship Management o Partner with internal and external stakeholders to address requirements, inquiries, and requests; Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure the accuracy of employee data o Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR, finance, legal, and external vendors Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence o Drive process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement high-impact process improvements, leveraging technology and automation where applicable. o Regularly review employee data management processes, identify bottlenecks or areas of improvement, and implement solutions to streamline operations Leadership and Team Management o Provide leadership and guidance to the team, and ensure effective operations and adherence to established processes o Monitor team performance, provide feedback and coaching, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration o Allocate resources appropriately, manage workloads, and ensure timely delivery of payroll services Control and Compliance Effectiveness o Maintain effective controls and ensuring compliance with internal control standards to minimize errors and risks Employee Data Management o Lead the end-to-end management of employee data in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) or other designated systems ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies o Handle and resolve escalations and issues, providing guidance and expertise to address complex matters o Ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of escalations or concerns related to various areas such as HR, payroll, policies, and processes o Act as a liaison between the contact centre and the delivery partner o Prepare SOPs, standard responses, and FAQs o Represents the company professionally and participates in quality audits What experience, skills and qualifications are required Our Contribution to greater common good – Our Sustainability Programs Know More about us Key Must Have Skills (for internal discussions only) Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required 8-13 years of work experience in employee data management etc Strong knowledge of employee data management principles, practices, and procedures Experience in managing a team or demonstrated leadership skills Proficient in using SAP data maintenance, HRIS or other HR data management systems. In-depth understanding of control and compliance requirements, including data protection regulations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Continuous improvement mindset and ability to identify process optimization opportunities Proficiency in SAP and HR ticketing tools, such as ServiceNow, Workday About Rio Tinto Rio Tinto is a leading global mining and materials company.
