Location:- Pune

Experience:- 4-6yrs of experience in AI/ML and vision system

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a Smart Solutions Sr. Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven and vision-based solutions for smart manufacturing. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in machine vision systems, sensor-based monitoring, and AI/ML analytics to enable data-driven decision-making, quality inspection, and process optimization across production lines.


Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and deploy smart vision systems for surface defect detection, dimensional measurement, and in-process inspection.
  • Design and train AI/ML models for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and production planning optimization.
  • Integrate industrial cameras, sensors, and PLCs into automated inspection or monitoring setups.
  • Conduct signal and image processing using OpenCV, Python, or Java for feature extraction and performance enhancement.
  • Interface smart systems with MES/SCADA/IIoT platforms via protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, or Modbus TCP/IP.
  • Collaborate with process, quality, and production teams to translate shopfloor challenges into AI-based automation solutions.
  • Develop dashboards and analytics tools to visualize process insights.
  • Validate and document system performance to ensure compliance with medical device manufacturing standards (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11).
  • Support proof-of-concept development and technology evaluation for advanced automation initiatives.

 

Required Technical Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in machine vision tools: Industrial Camera, Cognex, Keyence, Basler, or OpenCV-based systems.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java for image/signal processing and AI model development.
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, MQTT, OPC UA).
  • Exposure to sensor integration for smart monitoring systems.
  • Knowledge of database management (SQL, InfluxDB) and data handling for training ML models.
  • Familiarity with edge computing platforms (PLC, Jetson Nano, or Industrial PCs).

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with deep learning for image classification and segmentation.
  • Familiarity with 3D vision, stereo vision, or photometric inspection.
  • Experience developing cloud-connected AI systems.
  • Basic knowledge of robotic integration for automated inspection or pick-and-place systems.
