Job Summary
The Showroom Manager is responsible for overseeing showroom operations, driving sales of home theatre, audio-visual, and smart home solutions, and delivering a premium customer experience. The role involves managing staff, demonstrating complex AV systems, coordinating custom installations, and ensuring the showroom reflects the latest technology and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
Lead sales activities for home theatre, AV, and smart home solutions
Conduct product demonstrations of home theatre systems, surround sound, projectors, screens, and automation solutions
Understand customer requirements and design customized home theatre solutions
Prepare quotations, proposals, and BOQs; negotiate pricing and close sales
Build relationships with homeowners, interior designers, architects, and contractors
Showroom Operations
Manage daily showroom operations
Maintain high-quality visual merchandising and fully functional demo rooms
Ensure all demo systems are operational, updated, and well-maintained
Coordinate with technical teams for installations, service, and after-sales support
Manage inventory, demo equipment, and accessories
Team Leadership & Training
Recruit, train, and supervise sales consultants and demo staff
Train team members on AV technologies, product features, and system integration
Set sales targets and monitor individual and team performance
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching
Technical & Project Coordination
Liaise with engineers and installers to ensure accurate execution of sold projects
Review site drawings, layouts, and acoustic considerations when required
Ensure smooth handover from sales to installation and post-installation support
Handle escalated technical or customer service issues professionally
Marketing & Brand Representation
Implement in-store promotions, launches, and demo events
Coordinate with marketing teams on campaigns and showroom activations
Ensure showroom branding aligns with premium home theatre standards
Represent the company at exhibitions, technology showcases, and partner events
Reporting & Administration
Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and conversion analysis
Maintain CRM records, customer data, and project documentation
Monitor expenses and showroom budgets
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
Qualifications & Experience
Any graduation
2 - 4 years of experience in AV, home theatre, or luxury electronics sales
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
