Overview:

We are seeking a talented Shopify Frontend Developer with 2-4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, responsive, and high-performing e-commerce experiences on the Shopify themes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Understand client requirements, find solutions within the Shopify ecosystem, and provide estimates to the project management team
Collaborate with designers and project managers to translate Figma and XD mockups into functional Shopify stores
Build responsive and mobile-first designs that provide excellent user experiences across all devices
Optimize website performance, including page load times and Core Web Vitals
Implement custom features using Shopify APIs and third-party integrations, collaborating with backend developers to ensure seamless integration
Implement SEO best practices and ensure accessibility standards are met
Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues across different browsers and devices
Stay updated with Shopify platform updates and e-commerce industry trends

Required Qualification

Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in Shopify frontend development
Shopify Expertise: Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid templating language and theme development. Deep understanding of paid theme architectures (Impulse, Prestige, Motion, and Impact) with proven ability to customize them. Solid hands-on experience with Shopify themes Dawn and Horizon, including their underlying architectures.
Frontend Technologies: Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles
Frameworks: Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (React, Vue.js) and Shopify's theme architecture
Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
Performance Optimization: Understanding of web performance optimization techniques and tools
Cross-browser Compatibility: Experience ensuring consistent functionality across different browsers and devices

Technical Skills

Shopify Liquid templating language
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
Responsive and mobile-first design
REST APIs and AJAX
jQuery and modern JavaScript frameworks
Git and GitHub
Chrome DevTools and debugging techniques
Shopify theme customization and app integration

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Self-motivated with a passion for learning new technologies
Strong understanding of e-commerce user experience and customer journey
