Shopify Frontend Developer

As a Junior Shopify Frontend Developer at Born Techies Private Limited: Digital Commerce Agency, you will play a vital role in building and customizing eCommerce storefronts using Shopify. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in developing and customizing Shopify themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid. - Implementing design mockups into responsive Shopify pages under the guidance of senior developers. - Collaborating with designers and developers to create visually appealing and user-friendly storefronts. - Updating website content, banners, and navigation elements as required. - Supporting the integration of third-party apps and APIs. - Troubleshooting and resolving minor bugs and styling issues. - Staying updated with basic Shopify and eCommerce development trends. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - 6-12 months of hands-on experience with Shopify theme development or relevant coursework/personal projects. - Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript. - Introductory understanding of Shopify's Liquid templating language. - Familiarity with responsive web design and mobile-first development. - Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus. - Willingness to learn new tools, libraries, and Shopify-specific practices. - Good English communication and team collaboration skills. Additionally, the following skills would be a bonus but not mandatory: - Exposure to Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for working with design files. - Experience with Shopify CLI or Theme Kit. - Basic knowledge of SEO and performance optimization. - Familiarity with eCommerce UX/UI best practices.
