Job Summary

Senior ServiceNow Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across

  ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM

  , and custom modules.
• Partner with business analysts, stakeholders, and process owners to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Customize and configure ServiceNow applications including

  workflows, flow designer, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and UI actions

  .
• Perform advanced scripting using

  Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Pages, Client Scripts, GlideRecord, and scheduled jobs

  .
• Build and manage integrations with external systems using

  REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers

  , and web services.
• Ensure

  data integrity, security, and compliance

  through effective implementation of

  ACLs and role-based access controls

  .
• Lead ServiceNow

  upgrades, patching, and migrations

  , ensuring minimal disruption and optimal platform performance.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide long-term scalable solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive

  technical design documents, solution documentation, and configuration guides

  .
• Provide technical leadership by

  mentoring junior developers

  , conducting code reviews, and promoting development best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Agile teams to support CI/CD, testing, and release management processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Computer Science, Information Technology

  , or a related field.

• 7+ years of hands-on experience

  as a ServiceNow Developer.
• Strong experience with

  ITSM, ITOM

  , and/or custom ServiceNow applications.
• Proficiency in

  JavaScript, HTML/CSS, AngularJS

  , and ServiceNow scripting APIs.
• Deep understanding of

  ServiceNow data model, table structures, CMDB, and platform architecture

  .
• Experience with

  ServiceNow upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization

  .
• Solid knowledge of

  ServiceNow development best practices

  , including code versioning, testing, and documentation.
• Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems such as

  LDAP, SCCM, Azure, AWS

  , or other enterprise platforms.
• ServiceNow certifications such as

  CSA, CAD, CIS

  are highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with

  HRSD, CSM, or SecOps

  modules.
• Knowledge of

  Agile and DevOps

  methodologies.
• Strong understanding of

  ITIL frameworks

  .
• Exposure to

  Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, or Mobile Studio

  .
