ServiceNow Developer

Role Overview

This role supports the migration of MTN s Service Catalogs to the ServiceNow Employee Center (EC) portal, with a specific focus on taxonomy mapping. The developer will work closely with Business Analysts and Architects to align existing catalog items to EC taxonomy (topics and subtopics), without modifying or rebuilding the underlying workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Map existing catalog categories to EC taxonomy topics and subtopics.

• Support catalog rationalization by tagging items appropriately.

• Collaborate with OPCO stakeholders to validate taxonomy alignment.

• Assist in configuring EC portal views and navigation based on taxonomy.

• Ensure metadata consistency across catalog items.

• Participate in UAT and provide technical support during taxonomy validation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of ServiceNow development experience.

• Familiarity with Service Catalog and Employee Center modules.

• Experience with taxonomy structures and metadata tagging.

• Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript, GlideScript) for configuration tasks.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with structured data.

• Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
