ServiceNow Developer

DevLabs is looking for ServiceNow Developers on contractual (C2C/C2H) basis.

Contract Duration

Experience : 6 to 10 years      

Location : Remote

BGV : Must be ready to share all relevant documents, BGV will be conducted by third party.

What We’re Looking For -

1. 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.

2. Strong knowledge of ServiceNow core modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, SecOps).

3. Proficiency in Glide, Jelly scripting, and configuration tools.

4. Familiarity with system architecture, security, and coding best practices.

5. Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to analyse business needs and translate them into robust ServiceNow workflows, integrations, and automations.

2. Leverage ServiceNow’s full capabilities to design and build scalable solutions.

3. Configure and customise core ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, CSM, and CMDB, ensuring best practices and optimal performance.

4. Develop and manage forms, UI policies, business rules, and notifications to enhance user experience.

5. Proficient in server-side scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes etc) and client-side scripting (Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages etc) using GlideAjax.

6. Have basic knowledge of REST API architecture for integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems.

7. Work with Flow Designer and Integration Hub to develop automated workflows and seamless data integrations.

8. Identify, analyse, and resolve technical issues proactively.

9. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the ServiceNow platform to ensure stability and reliability.

10. Develop and customise reports, dashboards, and performance analytics within ServiceNow to support business requirements.

11. Follow best practices in ServiceNow development, ensuring secure and high-quality code.

12. Conduct code reviews and incorporate automated testing where applicable.

13. Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends.

14. Share knowledge within the team to foster best practices and continual platform optimisation.

15. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including workflows, integrations, and configuration changes, ensuring clear communication across teams.
