Your role

Platform Developer

As a Platform Developer at Atlas Copco, you are essential to enhancing our ServiceNow program and overall IT solutions. Your key mission focuses on evolving the ServiceNow platform through innovative developments and integrations that meet our evolving business needs. You will be at the forefront of designing and building new functionalities that drive efficiency and productivity. Working within an Agile framework, you will engage with cross-functional teams to align system capabilities with the strategic goals of the organization. From custom scripting to user interface adaptations, your expertise will be pivotal in delivering scalable solutions that adhere to best practices and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Designing User Experiences: You will customize and enhance list layouts, form views, and navigation menus to create intuitive and effective user experiences.
Template Development: Take the lead in developing record producers and form templates that simplify data capture and standardize information gathering.
Collaboration and Solution Design: Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into executable technical solutions, promoting a collaborative environment.
Development and Maintenance: Write and maintain detailed client-side and server-side scripts to ensure high performance and reliability of solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess and optimize workflows, advocating for enhancements that drive operational efficiency.

To succeed, you will need

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2-4 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
Demonstrated experience in ServiceNow System Administration.
Knowledge in Scripting and Application Creation within the ServiceNow framework.
