As a Service Control Manager at Barclays, your role involves supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects by ensuring they meet plan, budget, quality, and governance standards. You will lead the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence to enhance customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Expertise in at least one technology discipline - Infra or App - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills - Technical knowledge of business applications and systems - Understanding of Business Risk and control environment - Formal accreditation such as ITIL, Kepner-Tregoe accreditation - Ability to coordinate incident resolution with multiple support areas and suppliers - Conversant with risk governance and implications to operations and Incident Management - Experience with financial business applications and systems **Desired Skills:** - Experience in Business Acumen, Change and Transformation, Digital and Technology, Internal Controls, Issue Escalation, IT Incident Management, Policies & Procedures - Knowledge of Problem Solving Tools, Process Improvements, Reporting and Analysis, Report Writing, Risk and Controls - Stakeholder Management, Strategic Thinking, Technical Writing Documentation The purpose of your role is to execute seamless IT service delivery while maintaining a robust and secure control environment. You will utilize your expertise, control knowledge, and leadership skills to safeguard sensitive data, mitigate operational risks, and support the bank's technology systems. **Additional Details:** This role is based in Pune. As an Assistant Vice President, you are expected to advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and ensure operational effectiveness. You will lead a team to deliver impactful work, set objectives, coach employees, and demonstrate leadership behaviours.
