Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies aligned with business goals
- Responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive SEO plans that directly support our marketing and business objectives.
- Includes improving organic search visibility, increasing website traffic, and enhancing brand authority through effective use of on-page elements (meta tags, headings, internal linking) and off-page initiatives (link building, guest posting, digital PR).
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and content optimization
- Perform detailed keyword analysis to identify high-potential search terms and topics.
- Study competitor SEO strategies, discover content gaps, and optimize our web pages and blogs for improved search engine rankings and relevance.
- Manage technical SEO (site audits, speed optimization, indexing issues)
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues that affect site performance and ranking.
- Perform regular site audits, ensure fast page load times, fix crawl errors, improve mobile responsiveness, and manage indexing and sitemap updates.
- Collaborate with content, web development, and marketing teams
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all digital assets.
- Advise on content strategy, guide developers on SEO-friendly design, and align efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
- Monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, etc.
- Track and analyze key SEO metrics to measure success, identify trends, and prepare performance reports.
- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with search engine algorithms and best practices
- Keep up with the latest trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to ensure company's SEO strategies remain effective and compliant with search engine guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of proven SEO experience (agency or in-house)
- At least 3 years of direct experience managing SEO campaigns, either in an agency (handling multiple clients) or in-house.
- Experience in planning, executing, and optimizing SEO strategies that have delivered measurable improvements in search rankings and organic traffic.
- Strong knowledge of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO
- Technical SEO: Understanding of site architecture, page speed, mobile responsiveness, crawlability, and indexing.
- On-page SEO: Skilled in optimizing meta tags, headers, content structure, internal linking, and user experience elements.
- Off-page SEO: Experienced in link building, outreach, and managing digital PR to enhance domain authority and backlink profiles.
- Experience with SEO tools (e.g. Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog)
- Proficient in using SEO tools for audits, keyword research, competitor analysis, backlink monitoring, and performance tracking.
- Ability to interpret tool outputs and apply insights to refine SEO strategies.
- Ability to analyze data and deliver actionable insights
- Comfortable extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data from Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
- Skilled in translating data insights into clear, actionable plans to drive continuous SEO improvement.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Capable of clearly presenting SEO strategies, recommendations, and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong reporting and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex SEO data for wider understanding.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, Computer Science, Mass Communication, or a related field (preferred).
- Master’s degree or additional specialization in Digital Marketing will be an added advantage.
