Senior US Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US accounting principles, expertise in QuickBooks (QB), and advanced proficiency in Excel. This role will require working from the office and the candidate must be comfortable carrying their own laptop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Prepare accurate financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow Statement).
• Maintain and reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with US accounting regulations and tax laws.
• Perform detailed analysis of financial data and provide actionable insights for management.
• Prepare reports for audits and assist external auditors as required.
• Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting of financial data.
• Maintain and update financial records and documents in QuickBooks.
• Provide support in handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other finance-related activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting functions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of US accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (QB) and experience working with the software for general accounting and reporting tasks.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to work with pivot tables, v-lookups, and complex formulas.
• Strong understanding of US tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.

Additional Requirements:

• Immediate joiners preferred or those with a maximum 1-month joining notice period.
• This position requires work from office & Night shift

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
