Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounting, and compliance.
• Manage tax reporting and filings, ensuring compliance with US federal and state regulations.
• Calculate, report, and remit sales taxes and royalties.
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors for quarterly and yearly filings.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory, accounts payable, and accounts receivable records.
• Provide strategic financial insights to leadership.

Requirements

• QuickBooks Online
• Google Suite
• Knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations
• Familiarity with restaurant/retail accounting structures
• Teamwork.com or other project management tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or equivalent US accounting certification preferred
• Proven expertise in US taxation, compliance, and statutory filings
• ??Hands-on knowledge of the US tax code, compliance, and reporting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership abilities
