Senior UI/UX Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly creative, experienced, and strategic Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design of user-centric, visually compelling digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role goes beyond just design — you will also mentor a small team of designers, engage with clients, and contribute to project pitches and strategic planning.

You should have a strong design portfolio, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between creative vision and practical execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end UI/UX design process — from user research, wireframing, and prototyping to final design delivery.
• Oversee and mentor a team of junior and mid-level designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure quality and consistency.
• Act as the design lead during client meetings, presentations, and project kickoffs — effectively articulating design thinking and rationale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define design requirements and solutions.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform and validate design decisions.
• Develop wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that align with project goals and user needs.
• Ensure brand consistency and uphold design standards across all deliverables by managing and evolving our design systems and style guides.
• Contribute to proposals and pitches, bringing in UX strategy and design thinking as part of the pre-sales process.
• Stay on top of emerging design trends, tools, and technologies, and introduce innovative ideas to enhance user experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with at least 1–2 years in a team leadership or design lead role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centric digital products across multiple platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to interact with clients, lead meetings, and explain complex ideas clearly.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe CC, etc
• Solid understanding of AI, responsive design, accessibility standards, and modern UI design principles.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and data-informed design decisions.
• Proven ability to manage timelines, delegate tasks, and ensure delivery of high-quality work within deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic front-end technologies.
• Skills in motion design, animation, or micro-interactions.
• Previous experience in agency environments or client-facing roles.
