Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Tester with hands-on experience in automation testing and familiarity with AI-powered testing tools. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of software QA methodologies, test scripting, and basic Java and SQL skills.

You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality product delivery through a combination of manual and automated testing techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using modern tools (including AI-based testing platforms).
• Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Identify, document, and track defects to closure using standard defect management tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and product teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Participate in regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Utilize AI tools for test optimization, predictive defect analysis, and intelligent automation.
• Perform basic database validation using SQL queries.
• Write or maintain simple Java-based automation frameworks or scripts.
• Provide testing insights and suggestions for continuous improvement in processes and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
• Hands-on experience with AI-based automation tools (e.g., Testim, Functionize, Mabl, or similar).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Java programming (basic scripting level).
• Working knowledge of SQL for database testing and data validation.
• Experience with any test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Exposure to API testing (Postman, Swagger, or similar).
• Experience in testing web-based and cloud applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
• Basic understanding of AI testing frameworks and intelligent test generation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
