Senior Software Tester

JOB SUMMARY

As a software tester, you'll be involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment. An automation tester is a professional responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. Their primary goal is to streamline the testing process by automating repetitive and time-consuming manual testing tasks.

Job Overview, Roles & Key Responsibilities

• Creating Automated tests covering given test scenarios
• Work together with Product Managers, Product experts and other stakeholders identifying Test Cases for Test Automation
• Work together with Global Test Manager & QA Architect to identify avenues for Test Automation
• Work together with Testers and Development teams on a day-to-day basis
• Communicate with Project stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Participate in both Automated and Manual testing while adhering to Software QA Governance procedures.
• Usage of Azure DevOps as Bug-tracking system
• Usage of TestRail as Test Management tool
• Working with Navtor Test Automation framework

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree or post-graduate degree or technical degree from A or B grade colleges with Good academic scores.
• Good to have Certification in ISTQB, Six Sigma, Quality Improvement associate, quality auditor, and quality engineer
• Must have at least relevant 5 - 10 years of experience in Automation testing.
• Experience with frontend and backend testing (UI, API, Database integration)
• Must have Experience with mobile application testing
• Must have Experience with C# object-oriented programming in test automation
• Must have Strong programming skills in C# for developing automation scripts.
• Must have Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
• Must have Knowledge on how to Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for continuous testing and faster release cycles.
• Must have Knowledge on how to Configure and maintain test reporting solutions using Report.io/ReportPortal.
• Must have experience on how to Perform code reviews, debugging, and root cause analysis for automation scripts and framework
• Must have Experience with cloud systems (Azure/AWS)
• Must have Basic GIT knowledge
• Must have Scrum knowledge and experience
• Must Have Strong Multi-Tasking skills
• Must have ample experience in implementing corrective/preventive measures
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and C# for automation testing is a must.
