Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer

architecture, design decisions, performance optimization, code quality

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure product features
Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to translate business needs into technical solutions
Implement high-quality code following best practices, coding standards, and clean architecture principles
Own full development lifecycle: planning → development → testing → deployment → maintenance
Conduct code reviews and guide junior/mid-level engineers
Troubleshoot performance issues, optimize application speed, and ensure system reliability
Participate in system architecture & technical decision-making discussions
Ensure application security, data protection, and compliance best-practices
Contribute to DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment efforts
Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends
Prepare technical documentation for features and processes

Required Skills & Experience

4–7 years
of full-stack or backend development experience in product-based environments
Strong expertise in
Node.js
,
PHP (Laravel/CI)
, or
Python
(Any one major + willingness to learn others)
Proficiency in
JavaScript
,
TypeScript
,
Restful APIs
, and microservices architecture
Experience with
React.js
,
Vue.js
, or
Next.js
is a strong advantage
Solid understanding of
SQL & NoSQL databases
(MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
Hands-on experience with
Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms
(AWS, GCP, Azure)
Experience with
Git, Jira, CI/CD tools
, and Agile methodology
Strong problem-solving skills and debugging expertise
Knowledge of security practices, testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, PHPUnit, etc.)

Good to Have

Experience in
AI/ML product development
(bonus for integration experience)
Exposure to DevOps pipelines and infrastructure automation
Knowledge of Firebase, third-party API integrations, and payment gateways
Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or relevant field
(Skills and experience outweigh degree requirements)
