Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and maintenance of our platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets the needs of our customers.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers and architects to understand project requirements and technical specifications.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and performance benchmarks.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, in accordance with coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews to increase code quality, consistency, and alignment with the product design and architecture. 
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug product defects and provide timely solutions to customer issues.
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software development processes and tools.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help drive technical innovation within the team.

What you will have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience building full-stack web applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript & TypeScript and Node.js, with hands-on experience using Express.
• Expertise building responsive, dynamic front-end apps with ReactJs, Redux Toolkit and solid knowledge of ES6+, HTML5, CSS3 , SASS, Tailwind CSS, Vitest/Jest.
• Practical experience with ORMs and data layers: Sequelize and/or Prisma; solid SQL fundamentals with PostgreSQL/MySQL .
• Strong grasp of software design principles and patterns (modular architecture, domain-driven design, clean architecture), with an emphasis on scalability and maintainability.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL and WebSockets is a plus.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm for deploy/manage at scale.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI), including managed databases, container services, and networking.
• Solid DevOps mindset: CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Bitbucket), infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation), automated deployments and rollbacks.
• Comfortable with Agile/Scrum and collaborative workflows using Git, Jira, code reviews, and trunk/feature-branch strategies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to deliver clean, well-documented, performant code across front- and back-end.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; able to collaborate with design, product, QA, and platform teams.
• Commitment to secure coding (OWASP), testing and quality: Jest/Vitest (unit), Supertest (API), Cypress/Playwright (E2E), linting/formatting and type safety.
• Passion for building user-centric, high-performance web apps with modern tooling (Vite/webpack), SSR/SSG familiarity (Next.js a plus).
• Experience with API auth (JWT, OAuth2, OpenID Connect), rate limiting, and API gateways.

Nice to have

• Good knowledge of PKI, Cryptography and Code Signing would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of LLMs and RAG systems: prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases (e.g., Postgres pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate), and orchestration (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Familiarity with deploying/gen-AI workloads on AWS/Azure/GCP (Bedrock/OpenAI/Azure OpenAI), including guardrails, content filtering, and observability for LLM apps.
