Senior Software Developer

As a Senior Software Developer (.NET), you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure enterprise applications aligned with Inevia’s business objectives. This role ensures high performance, maintainability, and reliability of applications built using .NET technologies, microservices, and SQL Server.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners and stakeholders, to deliver innovative solutions while mentoring team members in a collaborative Agile environment.

The candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Application Design & Development:

o  Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using C#, .NET Core, and .NET 6/7/8.

o  Develop reusable components, services, and libraries following clean coding practices.

o  Build, consume, and secure RESTful APIs and microservices.

o  Integrate with Angular-based frontend applications for seamless backend-frontend communication.

o  Ensure adherence to architecture principles and coding standards.

System Optimization, Monitoring, and Quality:

o  Perform application performance tuning and optimization.

o  Conduct unit and integration testing, and participate in code reviews.

o  Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of applications.

o  Implement robust logging and monitoring mechanisms.

o  Maintain observability and troubleshooting capabilities across environments.

Database and Integration:

o  Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions in SQL Server.

o  Collaborate on schema design and query performance tuning.

o  Use ORM tools like Entity Framework Core and Dapper for data access.

CI/CD and DevOps:

o  Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities.

o  Support CI/CD pipeline setup using Azure DevOps.

o  Participate in containerization using Docker and deployment on cloud platforms.

o  Manage source code repositories and branching strategies.

Troubleshooting and Support:

o  Investigate and resolve issues across development, staging, and production environments.

o  Analyze logs and telemetry data to identify root causes and implement fixes.

Collaboration and Communication:

o  Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.

o  Mentor developers by providing guidance and technical support.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

o  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field

o  5+ years of professional experience in .NET development.

o   Proven experience in building enterprise-grade web applications and APIs.

Knowledge and Skills:

o  Expertise in C#, .NET Core, .NET 6/7/8.

o   Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2).

o   Hands-on experience with SQL Server and complex query writing.

o   Familiarity with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and clean architecture principles.

o   Experience with version control systems such as Azure DevOps and Git

o  Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably Azure.

o   Exposure to unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).

o   Knowledge of Angular frontend is a plus.
