Wordpress Developer

As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive WordPress websites while supporting digital marketing efforts including SEO and campaign tracking. This hybrid role involves collaborating with marketing, design, and development teams to ensure seamless user experience and strong online presence. You must be able to balance technical responsibilities with marketing support, ensuring websites are optimized, secure, and aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities:

• WordPress Developer and Maintenance:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and plugins.
• Ensure responsive and cross-browser compatible design.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly.
• Implement and monitor website security, backups, and updates.

• SEO Optimization:

• Perform on-page SEO including keyword research, meta tags, URL structure, and content optimization.
• Collaborate with content creators to enhance existing and new content for SEO.
• Use tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to monitor SEO performance and suggest improvements.

• Digital Marketing Support:

• Assist in planning and executing digital campaigns such as email marketing, PPC, and social media.
• Implement analytics and tracking tools to evaluate campaign performance.
• Help create and schedule web content that aligns with broader marketing strategies.

• Collaboration and Reporting:

• Work closely with marketing and design teams to align website updates with campaigns.
• Generate reports on website traffic, SEO rankings, and digital marketing KPIs.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:

o  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

o  2-5 years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a demonstrable portfolio.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

o  Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and responsive design.

o  Hands-on experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush.

o  Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and platforms.

o  Experience with WordPress page builders such as Elementor or WPBakery (preferred).

o  Basic understanding of UX/UI principles.

o  Knowledge of marketing automation tools and email platforms is a plus.

o  Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and time management skills.
