Role Overview

The Senior Social Media Manager will be responsible for strategizing, creating, and managing political social media campaigns. This role requires hands-on experience with political communications, digital campaigning, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute

  political social media strategies

  aligned with campaign goals.
• Manage social media pages of political leaders/parties across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, etc.).
• Create and oversee engaging content including graphics, videos, reels, and live coverage.
• Monitor trends, news, and issues to ensure timely political communication.
• Analyze performance metrics, prepare reports, and optimize campaigns for maximum reach & engagement.
• Lead a small team of content creators, designers, and video editors.
• Coordinate with political clients to understand their messaging and campaign requirements.
• Handle crisis communication and ensure brand consistency in political narratives.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience:

  3–5 years in social media management, with

  mandatory political campaign experience

  .

• Languages:

  Fluent in

  Marathi & English

  (both written and spoken).
• Strong understanding of

  digital political strategies, voter engagement, and social media algorithms

  .
• Proficiency in using tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and social listening platforms.
• Creative storytelling ability with knowledge of trending formats (reels, memes, motion graphics).
• Strong organizational, leadership, and time-management skills.
