Senior Site Reliability Engineer

ADP is hiring Senior Site Reliability Engineer!

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you are responsible for availability, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning. He or She will be responsible to deliver automations which makes the MNC systems and platforms more reliable and efficient resulting in the Improved Client Experience.

What You’ll Do

• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
• Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews.
• Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
• May work together with other staff engaged in similar functions.
• Building software to improve DevOps, ITOps, and support processes.

Qualifications You’ll Need

Education: Bachelor’s degree (Mandatory) preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology

• Overall 6+ years of experience in developing and monitoring distributed systems.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools.
• Working knowledge of

  AWS

  ,

  Ansible

  , Terraform, or another centralized configuration management tools.
• Experience with Linux system administration.
• Fluency in any one of the scripting languages, such as Python, Go, Perl, Ruby, Bash, and Java.
• Systematic problem-solving approach with excellent debugging and trouble shooting skills.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong sense of ownership, and an ability to drive tasks to completion.
• Experience using Docker and container orchestration technologies like Docker Swarm,

  Kubernetes

  , or Mesos.
