Job Description

Must have around 8 years of working as a Cloud Engineer focused on AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3 bucket, CloudFront, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, KMS, Systems Manager, Route53, WAF, API Gateway, ECS, ECR, Backup, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Elastic Search, IAM, etc.Should have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience administering Linux systems (RHEL) in both on-premises and AWS cloud environments.Should have good experience in doing on prem to AWS cloud workload migrationExperience in design, deploying, and managing Linux servers on both VMware and AWS cloud platforms.Strong experience automating tasks (deployments, backups, maintenance) using scripts, Terraform, and Ansible.Experience in improving metrics, monitor cloud AWS utilization of resources using CloudWatch.Experience with VMWare, SAN, NetApp storage, and backup/recovery.Proficient in Linux administration and troubleshooting OS issues (patch management, volume management, firewall, routing, kernel).Implement security best practices for Linux systems and AWS environments (hardening, firewalls, access controls).Hands-on experience working with protocols like HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, LDAP, SNMP, and SMTP.Good experience in Logging & Monitoring tools like SiteScope, Dynatrace, Splunk.Familiarity with network infrastructure components (Active Directory, firewalls, wireless, file sharing, SMB, Iptables, proxies).Understand and manage SAP systems on AWS, including cluster management, databases (HANA, Oracle), and HA configurations (advantageous) will be added advantage.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal. Certifications:Must have a valid AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Sysops Administrator.Should have a valid Linux certification(s) like RHCA, RHCE, RHCSA, etc. is an added advantage. Educational Qualifications:Should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or any other related field.
