Senior Site Engineer

Job Title: Senior Site Engineer – Infra Electrical Works (Renewable: Wind & Solar, Power Distribution) Location: Maharashtra Experience: 5–10 Years in electrical works for infrastructure and renewable energy projects Key Responsibilities: Lead site execution of electrical infrastructure works for renewable projects (wind & solar) and associated power distribution systems. Review and implement electrical drawings, technical specifications, and ensure compliance with project requirements and codes. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of: Medium & low voltage systems (33kV/11kV, LT panels, transformers, switchgear, protection systems). Renewable energy evacuation systems (cables, terminations, earthing, lightning protection). SCADA, metering, and communication systems. Coordinate with civil/mechanical teams, OEMs, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor project progress, ensure quality, safety, and cost control as per contractual and statutory requirements. Handle liaison with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors for approvals, inspections, and clearances. Prepare and maintain site records, daily/weekly progress reports, test reports, and material reconciliation. Ensure compliance with electrical safety, statutory norms, and renewable energy guidelines (CEA, MNRE, DISCOM regulations). Provide technical guidance to site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors for resolving site execution challenges. Support in project handover including as-built documentation, testing reports, and O&M manuals. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong technical knowledge in electrical power systems, renewable energy evacuation, and grid integration. Hands-on experience in wind/solar project execution, substations, transmission lines, and distribution networks. Familiarity with national and international standards  Good to have proficiency in project management tools, MS Office, AutoCAD Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Strong focus on HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) compliance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering. 5–10 years of relevant experience in renewable energy (wind/solar) and infrastructure electrical works.
