Title: Senior SAP HCM Functional Location: Financial District, Hyderabad Mode: Full Time Position Overview We are seeking a seasoned SAP HCM Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Payroll schemas, PCR, Processing Classes, and Evaluation Classes. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end HCM implementations and optimizations for complex global payroll and time management landscapes, partnering closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams. Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Configuration Lead workshops to gather business requirements related to payroll, time evaluation, absence/attendance, and compensation processes Design, configure, and enhance SAP HCM Payroll schemas, PCRs, Processing Classes, and Evaluation Classes to meet business rules Develop and maintain wage types, payroll areas, payroll driver variants, and off-cycle payroll processes Technical Development & Testing Collaborate with ABAP developers to translate functional requirements into technical specifications Oversee unit, integration, and regression testing for all payroll and time management scenarios Troubleshoot complex payroll calculations and time evaluation issues, ensuring 100% compliance with statutory and organizational policies Project & Change Management Act as the primary SAP HCM payroll/time-management SME on implementation, upgrade, and support projects Prepare functional design documents, test scripts, and user guides Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfers for end users and support teams Continuous Improvement & Support Analyze existing payroll and time processes, recommending optimizations using SAP standard functionality or enhancements Provide 2nd/3rd-level support for production incidents, root-cause analysis, and permanent resolutions Stay current with SAP HCM innovations (e.g., Fiori apps, Payroll Control Center) and best practices Required Skills & Experience SAP HCM Payroll & Time Management Comprehensive hands-on experience with Payroll schemas , PCR, Processing Classes, and Evaluation Classes Proven track record in configuring country-specific statutory payroll calendars, rules, and retro calculations Experience with Time Evaluation vs. Absence/Attendance Integration Implementation Methodology Strong background with SAP Activate or ASAP methodology in full-cycle SAP implementations and rollouts Ability to lead requirement workshops, design sessions, cuts-over planning, and post-go-live hypercare Integration & Reporting Familiarity with ALE/IDoc interfaces and file interfaces for payroll outputs Proficiency in generating payroll/time reports via SAP Query, Ad Hoc Query, or SAP BW Soft Skills Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical details for executive and non-technical stakeholders Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and client-facing roles Education & Certifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Management, or related field SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP HCM (Preferred) Additional certifications in SAP Payroll or SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll are a plus Show more Show less
