Job Summary

  • Lead generation, sales and business development for automation Products & Solutions.
  • Front end sales, cold calling for new clients and tap old clients for more business.
  • New Client tie ups, maintain relations with existing clients.
  • Provide Installation, commissioning of VFDs, Soft starters, IMCC products & troubleshooting for the same.
  • Location is Mahape, Navi Mumbai


Key Responsibilities


Sales-

  • Sales planning, forecasting for the year with the AM-BD & Management
  • To achieve agreed sales targets, pipeline and order intake
  • Lead generation for automation solutions business which is a combination of sales of company products and services.
  • Identify client requirements and get required data from Client to enable Proposal Team to quote
  • Ensure conversion of leads to achieve sales target
  • Highlight core competence of the company by showcasing existing projects case studies of exceptional work in current projects.
  • Adding business with existing customers in form of project inquiries in the domains of Chemicals, Oil & Gas, captive Power plants, Pharmaceuticals, fertilizer amongst others
  • Identify & generate Pan India business needs
  • Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
  • Subsequently, co-ordinate delivery with commercial, payment realization etc. 


Client Relationship

  • Developing long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements;
  • Regular client visits to generate enquiries, understand customers' requirements, and propose customized solutions.
  • Identify and prioritize key sales enquiries & opportunities, maintain activity list of key principals & their distributors for the allocated territories.
  • Working on after-sales support services and coordinate in providing technical back up as required;
  • Get feedback from customers for job done satisfactorily during and after project completion; if satisfied get completion & appreciation certificate else initiate corrective action.


Marketing Training & MIS

  • Maintain continuous awareness of competitor and third-party equipment.
  • Support marketing activities; Organize seminars, attend conferences and exhibitions, networking with customers and agents
  • Presenting various sales MIS like funnelling, pipeline, monthly reports to management regularly. 
  • Input data into MIS to feed the sales forecast for the assigned territory.
  • Maintain and update relevant customer database to support the marketing databases.
  • Providing mentoring & training and producing support material for other members of the sales team.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of our client equipment.


Technical & Essential Skills

  • Microsoft Proficient
  • Knowledge of VFDs, Soft starters, IMCC products, including installation, commissioning & troubleshooting for the same
  • Knowledge of Rockwell Products
  • Installation knowledge of Rockwell software
  • Downloading control system Programs
  • Knowledge of Field Instruments, Erection Hardware


Qualifications & Behavioral Skills-

  • Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering Background.
  • Excellent communications both written and verbal in English, with an ability to converse in the local language of the region to establish quick relations with customers.
