Treasury & Working Capital Management Inventory & Security: Due to the high-value nature of the jewellery business, be solely responsible for optimizing and securing high-value inventory (precious metals and gemstones) and ensuring efficient management of its financing, storage, and movement. Cash Flow Optimization: Lead all treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, management of banking relationships in Mumbai, debt structuring, and maintaining a robust working capital cycle. Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to manage financial risks, including foreign exchange exposure (for raw material imports) , interest rate risk, and commodity price hedging. 3. Reporting, Compliance & Taxation (India Specific) Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial practices are in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) , SEBI (if publicly listed/preparing for IPO), RBI guidelines, and all applicable local, state, and central government regulations in India. Taxation: Oversee all direct and indirect tax compliance, with a deep focus on GST regulations specific to gold, diamond, and silver jewellery (including input tax credit management and multi-state retail compliance). Statutory Audits: Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure the timely, accurate, and transparent preparation and submission of all financial statements and reports. 4. Technology & Team Leadership Digital Transformation: Lead the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) and financial technology platforms to enhance internal controls, reporting efficiency, and data security.
