Job Summary:

We are looking for a technically skilled and research-oriented Senior Research Engineer to lead and carry out R&D activities focused on precision diamond tooling. This position involves spearheading new product development, conducting performance evaluations, and contributing to ongoing innovation in tool design and manufacturing processes.

Skills Required:

Responsibilities:

·      Lead and execute R&D trials related to diamond tool development, including grinding, edge preparation, and performance analysis.

·      Drive New Product Development (NPD) by supporting design, prototyping, and application validation.

·      Conduct technical evaluations and prepare detailed reports on tool performance in both lab and field conditions.

·      Collaborate with production, quality, and application teams to translate research outcomes into manufacturing-ready solutions.

·      Develop and maintain experimental protocols, test methods, and process documentation.

·      Coordinate with academic institutions and technology partners for collaborative research projects.

·      Analyze customer feedback and field data to propose product or process improvements.

Requirements:

·      Master’s degree (MTech/MS) in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field

·      2–4 years of experience in R&D, preferably in precision manufacturing or tooling

·      Strong foundation in experimentation, analysis, and documentation

·      Familiarity with ultra-precision machining or diamond tooling is preferred

·      Added advantage - GATE qualification, MTech/MS from IITs, NITs, or other premier institutes, and prior experience in academic or industrial R&D.
