About Us

Join a dynamic development team based at our Kolkata office on Lords Sinha Road, working on cutting-edge mobile applications. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining high-quality apps for iOS (and ideally Android) using React Native, collaborating closely with designers, backend engineers and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build and maintain mobile applications using React Native for iOS (and optionally Android) platforms.
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high quality, interactive mobile screens and flows.
• Work with native iOS build tools (Xcode, Swift/Objective-C) and/or Android (Gradle, Java/Kotlin) where required.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries and native modules to deliver feature-rich mobile apps.
• Ensure performance, responsiveness and robustness of mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, estimate work, and deliver features on schedule.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain best practices, write clean, maintainable code and ensure code quality.
• Deploy apps to App Store (and Google Play, if relevant), handle app signing, builds, release management.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues; monitor and optimise app performance.
• Stay updated with mobile technologies, frameworks and practices, and contribute ideas to improve development efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing mobile applications using React Native.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React Native core concepts (components, hooks, state management).
• Good experience with iOS application development: build tools (Xcode), native modules, knowledge of Swift/Objective-C or ability to work with iOS internals.
• Familiarity with Android development (Java/Kotlin/Gradle) is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of mobile app lifecycle, UI/UX guidelines, responsive design, cross-device behaviour.
• Experience integrating REST / GraphQL APIs, understanding offline storage, data synchronisation and mobile performance optimisation.
• Familiar with version control (Git), build & deployment pipelines, app signing and release process.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Available for immediate (or near-immediate) joining and willing to work from our Kolkata office (Lords Sinha Road).

Preferred/Bonus Skills

• Experience with state-management libraries: Redux, MobX, Context API.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Detox, etc.) and continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) setup.
• Exposure to native module bridging (iOS/Android) in React Native.
• Experience publishing apps to Apple App Store and/or Google Play, handling certificates, provisioning profiles, versioning.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (Firebase, Sentry), analytics and crash reporting.
