Job Description

Key Responsibilities: A. Customer Quality Management: - Primary representative for all customer quality requirements. - Lead complaint resolution using structured problem-solving methods. - Ensure timely PPAP/ISIR and audit compliance. - Drive corrective and preventive action closure. B. In-House Quality Management – Injection Moulding: - Ensure adherence to approved moulding parameters and standards. - Oversee first-off approvals and in-process quality control. - Coordinate with production, tooling, and maintenance for process stability. - Ensure dimensional, functional, and visual conformance. C. In-House Quality Management – Painting: - Ensure SOP/WI adherence across the paint shop. - Monitor key painting parameters for stable finish quality. - Approve first-off painted samples and oversee in-process checks. - Maintain consistent quality through coordination with production/maintenance. D. Incoming Quality & Supplier Quality: - Lead IQC for raw materials, chemicals, components, and packaging. - Conduct supplier audits and monitor performance. - Ensure compliance to specifications and manage corrective actions. E. Quality Systems & Compliance (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001): - Maintain Control Plans, PFMEA, SOPs, MSA, calibration, and documentation. - Ensure audit readiness and close NCs in defined timelines. - Promote documentation discipline and traceability. F. New Product Development (APQP / PPAP): - Participate in DFM/A, process planning, and tool readiness. - Prepare APQP/PPAP documentation. - Support trials, validation, and launch approval. G. Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: - Drive quality improvement across moulding & paint shop. - Reduce rejection, rework, and improve FPY. - Implement Poka-Yoke, SPC, Lean, and visual controls. H. Team Leadership & Training: - Lead QA/QC teams and develop technical capability. - Train teams in inspection, metrology, documentation, and SOP adherence. - Strengthen quality culture and discipline.
